ChatGPT MCP Integration

Connect Rembrandt to ChatGPT using Custom Connectors (MCP) to access your market intelligence data directly within ChatGPT conversations.

What Are ChatGPT Custom Connectors?

ChatGPT Custom Connectors use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect ChatGPT to external services like Rembrandt, giving you access to your market intelligence data directly in your conversations.

Prerequisites

  • A Rembrandt account with completed onboarding

  • ChatGPT Plus subscription (required for Custom Connectors)

  • An active organization in your Rembrandt account

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Open ChatGPT Custom Connectors

  1. Go to ChatGPT

  2. Click Settings > Connectors

  3. Click Add Connector

  4. Select Custom Connector (MCP)

Step 2: Enter the Rembrandt MCP URL

Enter the following server URL:

https://api.rembrandtagents.com/mcp

Step 3: Authorize the connection

  1. ChatGPT will redirect you to Rembrandt to authorize

  2. Sign in to your Rembrandt account if prompted

  3. Review the permissions and click Authorize

  4. You'll receive an authorization code

Enter the authorization code in ChatGPT:

Bearer YOUR_AUTHORIZATION_CODE

Step 4: Verify the connection

  1. Click Save and Connect

  2. Start a new conversation in ChatGPT

  3. Ask: "What buying signals do I have?"

  4. If connected correctly, ChatGPT will access your Rembrandt data

Using Rembrandt in ChatGPT

Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT questions like:

  • "Show me prospects with recent activity"

  • "Find companies in the Netherlands with job posting signals"

  • "What open opportunities do we have?"

  • "Get buying signals for Acme Corporation"

  • "Generate an outreach email based on the signals for Acme"

Troubleshooting

Authorization failed

  • Make sure you're logged into your Rembrandt account

  • Verify that your account setup is complete (email verified, organization selected, profile completed)

  • Try the authorization flow again

ChatGPT can't access Rembrandt data

  • Verify the MCP server URL is correct: https://api.rembrandtagents.com/mcp

  • Check that your authorization code is valid (they expire — re-authorize if needed)

  • Try removing and re-adding the connector

Connection was working but stopped

  • Authorization codes can expire. Re-authorize by going through the setup flow again.

  • Check that your Rembrandt account and organization are still active

Alternative: OpenAPI Actions

Disconnecting

To disconnect the integration:

  1. Go to ChatGPT Settings > Connectors

  2. Remove the Rembrandt connector
