Common issues and solutions for using Rembrandt.
Authentication Issues
Can't sign in
Problem: Unable to sign in to your account.
Solutions:
-
Check that you're using the correct email address

If you signed up with Google, use the Sign in with Google button instead of email/password
-
Try resetting your password using the "Forgot password" link
-
Ensure you're going to the correct Rembrandt login page
-
Clear your browser cookies and try again
Email verification not arriving
Problem: Not receiving the verification email or the link has expired.
Solutions:

Check your spam/junk folder
-
Request a new verification email from the login page
-
Verify you entered the correct email address during signup
-
If using a corporate email, check with your IT team that emails from Rembrandt are not blocked
-
Contact support if emails continue to not arrive
Stuck on setup
Problem: Seeing setup screens or redirected back to onboarding after signing in.
Solutions:

Complete email verification first — this is required before anything else

Fill in your personal details (first name, last name)

Complete the subscription step if prompted

Organization Issues
Can't select an organization
Problem: Unable to select or create an organization during setup.
Solutions:

Ensure your email is verified
-
If you were invited, check your email for the invitation link and accept it first

If creating a new organization, ensure all required fields are filled in
-
Contact support if you don't see your expected organization
Missing features or settings
Problem: Can't find settings or features that should be available.
Solutions:
-
Organization settings (Members, Timezone, API Tokens, Integrations, Qualification) are only visible to Owners and Admins. If you have an Editor or Viewer role, ask your admin.

Some features may require specific configuration to appear (e.g. the Qualification inbox requires the qualification workflow to be enabled in settings)
-
If you should have access but don't, ask your organization Owner or Admin to check your role
Can't invite members
Problem: Don't see the option to invite team members.
Solutions:

Only Owners and Admins can invite members
-
Go to Settings > Organization > Members and click Invite Member
-
If you don't see this option, your role may be Editor or Viewer — ask an Owner or Admin to invite on your behalf
MCP Integration Issues
MCP not connecting
Problem: Unable to connect Rembrandt to Claude Desktop or ChatGPT via MCP.
Solutions:

Make sure you have the correct MCP server URL:
https://api.rembrandtagents.com/mcp -
Verify you completed the authorization flow and have a valid token
-
For Claude Desktop: restart Claude Desktop after making configuration changes
-
For ChatGPT: check that the Custom Connector was saved successfully
-
Re-authorize the connection if your token has expired

MCP returning errors
Problem: MCP is connected but queries return errors.
Solutions:

Check that your Rembrandt account has an active organization selected
-
Ensure your account setup is complete (email verified, profile filled in)
-
Try re-authorizing the MCP connection

API Issues
API key not working
Problem: REST API calls return authentication errors.
Solutions:
-
Verify your API key starts with
rk_and is copied correctly (no extra spaces) -
Check that you're using the
Authorization: Bearer rk_your_keyheader -
Ensure the API key hasn't been revoked — check Settings > Organization > API Tokens

API keys are scoped to an organization — make sure you're using a key for the correct organization

API rate limiting
Problem: Receiving 429 "Too Many Requests" responses.
Solutions:

Check the
X-RateLimit-Remaining-Keyresponse header to see your remaining quota -
Wait until the
X-RateLimit-Reset-Keytimestamp before retrying -
Spread your requests over time rather than sending them in bursts

Contact support if you need higher rate limits
CRM Integration Issues
HubSpot not syncing
Problem: Data is not syncing between Rembrandt and HubSpot.
Solutions:

Check the connection status in Settings > Organization > Integrations

Try disconnecting and reconnecting HubSpot
-
Ensure the HubSpot user who authorized the connection has sufficient permissions
-
Use the Sync Now button to trigger a manual sync

General Issues
Pages not loading
Problem: Pages show errors or don't load.
Solutions:

Refresh the page

Clear your browser cache and cookies

Try a different browser (Rembrandt works best in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge)

Check your internet connection

Contact support if the issue persists
Data not appearing
Problem: Dashboard or pages show no data.
Solutions:

Verify your account setup is complete

Check that you have the correct organization selected (use the sidebar switcher)
-
If you're new, data may not have been generated yet — ensure you have agents configured and running
-
Check your role — Viewers can see data but Editors and above are needed to create it
-
