Organization

Manage your organization, team members, roles, and settings in Rembrandt.

What is an organization

An organization is your team's workspace in Rembrandt. It contains your data, settings, members, and integrations. All data is scoped to your organization. Members only see data belonging to the organization they have selected.

You can be a member of multiple organizations and switch between them at any time.

Roles

Rembrandt has two types of roles: organization roles that control platform access, and sales roles that are used for qualification pipeline assignment and territory management.

Organization roles

Owner

Full access to everything. Can manage settings, members, billing, integrations, and all data. Each organization has one owner.

Admin

Same as Owner, except cannot transfer ownership. Can manage settings, invite members, and configure integrations.

Editor

Operates the product: opportunities, campaigns, accounts, contacts. Cannot open the Configuration section or organization settings, or manage members.

Viewer

Read-only access. Can view data but cannot create or edit anything. Cannot access organization settings.

The whole Configuration section of the sidebar is hidden from Editors and Viewers, and the routes behind it are blocked server-side as well.

Sales roles

Sales roles are separate from organization roles and are used for the Sales Funnel (review stages and reviewer assignment):

Sales Role

Purpose

BDR

Business Development Representative, typically handles initial qualification

AE

Account Executive, typically handles deal-level evaluation

Sales Director

Oversees the qualification process, has override authority when role-based permissions are enforced

BDR
AE
SALES_DIRECTOR

Sales roles are optional. Not every team member needs one. They are only relevant if you use the review pipeline with role-based stage assignment.

Organization settings

Organization settings are only accessible to Owners and Admins. Navigate to Settings > Organization from the sidebar.

The Organization group contains:

Page

What it's for

Members

Members and invites, organization roles and sales roles

Security

Two-factor authentication requirement for password sign-ins

Single Sign-On

Sign-in through your own identity provider. See

Single Sign-On

MCP Connections

Campaign AI Keys

Sales

, Sequences, Copy guidance, and Sales suppression

Contacts

The default DMU, contact sync, and the title families and search filters sourcing looks for

Some entries only appear when the matching capability is switched on for your organization: Single Sign-On, MCP Connections, Campaign AI Keys, Marketing, Contacts > Contact Sync, Contacts > Title families and Search filters, and Sales > Sales suppression. If one is missing, it is not enabled for you yet. Ask your account team.

Campaign AI Keys

Campaign AI covers the two places Rembrandt writes for you: the account briefing and the outreach copy on a campaign. By default that runs on Rembrandt's models and is included.

If your organization would rather that ran on its own contract, connect an OpenAI or Anthropic key here and campaign AI uses it instead. Core platform processing, meaning the agents that score your accounts, always runs on Rembrandt's models and is not affected.

Available on request. Ask your account team to enable it.

Sales suppression

Sales suppression stops Rembrandt outreach on accounts and contacts another team is already working, using a property the two teams share in your CRM. When an account enters review, Rembrandt can claim it there, so the other side sees the claim in the system they already use.

It requires a connected CRM and is enabled per deployment.

Members

Manage your team from Settings > Organization > Members.

Members tab: View and manage current members:

  • See each member's organization role and sales role

  • Update sales roles individually or in bulk

  • Remove members

Invites tab: View and manage pending invitations:

  • See invitation status

  • Resend or revoke invitations

Inviting members

Owners and Admins can invite new members:

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > Members

  2. Click Invite Member

  3. Enter the person's email address

  4. Choose an organization role (Admin, Editor, or Viewer; Owner cannot be assigned via invite)

  5. Optionally choose a sales role (BDR, AE, or Sales Director)

  6. Send the invitation

The invited person receives an email with a link to accept and join the organization.

Bulk invite via CSV: You can import multiple invitations at once using a CSV file. The CSV import supports email, role, and sales role columns.

Security

Require two-factor authentication from Settings > Organization > Security. When the toggle is on, every member who signs in with a password must enrol an authenticator app before they can use the app. Members who sign in with Google are not affected. Individual users manage their own second factor under Settings > Profile > Security.

Timezone

Set your organization's timezone from Settings > Organization > Timezone. This affects SLA calculations, notification timing, and scheduled operations.

API tokens

Manage API access from Settings > Organization > API Tokens. Here you can create service accounts with API keys for integrating Rembrandt with external tools and workflows. See the API Integration Guide for details.

Integrations

Connect external tools from Settings > Organization > Integrations. Cards are shown for:

  • HubSpot: CRM account and contact access

  • Salesforce: CRM account and contact access

  • Salesloft: Outreach sequence delivery

  • Outreach: Outreach sequence delivery

  • LinkedIn: Audience activation and campaign reporting

Each connection lists the permissions it was authorized for. A granted permission is not the same as an enabled feature: the feature itself is switched on and configured on its own settings page. For example, contact sync lives on Settings > Organization > Contacts > Contact Sync.

See the Integrations Guide for details.

Sales

Configure the review pipeline from Settings > Organization > Sales > Pipeline (titled "Sales Pipeline"): review stages, sales-role assignment, SLAs, thresholds, and reviewer permissions. The same Sales group also holds Sequences and Copy guidance for outreach. See the Sales Funnel and Campaigns for how those settings show up in review.

Subscription

Manage your subscription and billing. View your current plan, usage, payment history, and manage your subscription.

Switching organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations, you can switch between them using the organization switcher in the sidebar. Click your organization name and select a different one from the dropdown. You can search by name if you have many organizations.

Your selected organization determines:

  • Which data you see across the platform

  • Your role and permissions

  • Which integrations and settings apply

You can also view all your organizations from Settings > Profile > Joined Organizations.

Signing in

Rembrandt supports two sign-in methods:

  • Email and password: Create an account with your email

  • Google: Sign in with your Google account

Email verification is required for all accounts. Sign-up itself is invite-only, so see Getting Started. If your organization requires two-factor authentication, password sign-ins also ask for a code from your authenticator app.

Common questions

Can I be in multiple organizations?

Yes. You can be a member of multiple organizations and switch between them at any time using the sidebar switcher.

Who can invite team members?

Owners and Admins can invite new members. Editors and Viewers cannot send invitations.

What is the difference between organization roles and sales roles?

Organization roles (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer) control what you can access and configure in the platform. Sales roles (BDR, AE, Sales Director) are used by the review pipeline for reviewer assignment and override permissions. They are independent. An Editor can have a Sales Director sales role, for example.

How do I create a new organization?

Organizations are provisioned for you and the owner is invited into them, rather than created self-service from inside the app. Contact support or your account team if you need an additional organization.

What happens if I leave an organization?

You lose access to that organization's data, settings, and integrations. You can still access other organizations you belong to.
