Connecting, matching accounts and contact sync work the same for every CRM, and are covered in CRM. This page is what is specific to Salesforce.
Matching by Account ID
When domain matching cannot resolve an account, add a salesforce_object_id column to the account CSV import. Automatic matching queries Salesforce Accounts by website domain.
API quota
Salesforce enforces a daily API request quota per org. Rembrandt batches its reads to use very few requests, but a very large first sync can be throttled and take a few hours. It retries on the next cycle rather than pushing past your limit.
If sync errors keep mentioning limits, raising your sync conviction threshold reduces how many accounts qualify.
No LinkedIn field
The standard Salesforce Contact object has no LinkedIn field, so LinkedIn URLs stay empty for Salesforce-synced contacts unless they are filled from another source or by hand. Mapping a custom field is on the roadmap.
Sandbox orgs
Sandbox orgs are supported. Ask support to point your organization at the sandbox login endpoint before you connect.
Sequence delivery
Salesforce can also receive outreach. You map each step to a field you create in Salesforce, and the mapping panel tells you what to create.
